ttiCgMan + ttiPlayout
The ttiCgMan + ttiPlayout bundle is a graphics engine with video player capabilities in the same machine.
By combining ttiCgMan and ttiPlayout we are able to deliver a complete integrated graphics and video solution for use in television broadcasts in a single cost-effective package. The platform features real-time computer generated graphics, video playback, program flow control and remote administration. The platform can be utilized in various configurations to cover a wide range of broadcast and programming needs for the television industry.
The ttiCgMan + ttiPlayout combination is ideal for "channel in a box solutions", and producing interactive TV and chat TV.
Examples of use
Due to the flexibility of the system it may be used for a wide range of different applications. Some examples of possible use are:
- SMS Chat - Scrolling text boxes or crawling text automatically updated with incoming SMS messages.
- SMS or telephone voting - Textual or graphical representation of vote alternatives and results.
- MMS gallery - Incorporate MMS images from viewers in a program format design, allowing viewers to send in their own images to be seen on the TV screen.
- Animated jingles, informal messages, etc. - Playback of animated jingles, informal messages or similar content, triggered either manually or by various events occurring throughout the program.
- Informational text - Static or animated (i.e. scrolling or fading) informational text.
- News ticker - Scrolling, crawling or otherwise animated text automatically updated through incoming events (i.e. news messages).
- General program graphics - I.e. an animated program logo, a countdown timer, a clock or a channel logo.
- Credits scrollers - I.e. credits at the end of the program or various text effects during the program.
